When it comes to cooking, there are hundreds of oils you can choose from. There’s olive oil, vegetable oil, canola oil and many, many more.

Coconut oil is an amazing, naturally occurring oil and it doesn’t lose its nutritional value during heating like so many other oils do.

  • It contains medium chain triglycerides and fatty acids that go straight to the liver. These turn into ketone bodies and will give you a quick burst of energy.
  • It has lots of lauric acid which can kill off bacteria, fungi, viruses, and strengthen your immune system.
  • It improves blood lipid profiles and cuts down on cardiovascular disease, thanks to its high levels of good cholesterols (or HDLs).
  • It can help you lose weight by increasing your energy expenditure, making you feel more full and improving your weight-loss-from fat ratios
  • It can improve brain function and fight off epilepsy and other neurological disorders, thanks its brain-fueling ketone bodies. Coconut oil can also be used on your hair and skin, and can be used as a sexual lubricant.

In short, unrefined organic coconut oil is a SUPER FOOD!
